Start Date: March 2026
Location: Wolverhampton & the Black Country
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience


About the Role

Zest Education have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic English Teacher to work with supportive secondary schools across Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas. This is a brilliant chance to inspire young people, deliver engaging lessons, and develop your teaching experience within excellent school settings.


You Will:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring English lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Foster a positive, engaging learning environment
  • Assess student progress through tests, assignments and other evaluation methods
  • Provide effective feedback and tailored support to help students succeed
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour

What We’re Looking For:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification with QTS or QTLS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for English, with the ability to teach KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level, with strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Ability to plan, mark, and deliver high-quality lessons
    • Note: Planning and marking required only for short-term or long-term placements
