Job Description

We are looking for someone who is passionate about EYFS teaching to join us! Are you a passionate Early Years teacher looking for a new opportunity and experience? Zest can help!

Zest Education has teamed up with a ‘good’ rated school in the Dudley area that is searching for a dedicated EYFS teacher to join their team. This is an ongoing maternity position that will require the candidate to work 5 days per week commencing in January 2025.

The Early Years staff at the two-form primary school are a nurturing and caring team who put the children at the centre of everything they do. The teachers are passionate about helping the students improve their language and communication skills whilst also giving them the freedom to pursue their own interests while growing on their own.

A successful candidate for this role must:

  • A qualified teacher.
  • Have knowledge of EYFS curriculum
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Have a passionate and caring attitude towards education and the pupils

 

The responsibilities of this role will include:
– Create engaging and stimulating learning activities tailored to meet the needs of young children.
– Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents and caregivers on their development.
– Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
– Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support the holistic development of children.
– Implement the EYFS framework effectively, ensuring that all learning objectives and milestones are met.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
