EYFS Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education is currently collaborating with a fantastic school in Burton on Trent, and we are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to become a part of their team on a full-time basis. This position is set to commence at the earliest opportunity and will provide continuous employment for the successful candidate.

The wonderful school are part of a popular multi-academy system and have excellent staff retention rates thanks to the existing staff support network and CPD opportunities. The 4-11 school strives to provide a first-rate education to all students while also teaching them important life skills.

To be successful in this role you must:
– Have a relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
– Experience working with children aged 3-5 in an educational setting.
– Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and its implementation.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

During this role, the successful candidate will be expected to:
– Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
– Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities.
– Providing one-on-one support to children with additional needs.
– Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
