Zest Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Tamworth. This exciting role is due to start ASAP.

This full-time position from Monday to Friday offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with young learners and contribute towards their development. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in early years education and preferably hold a level 2 or above qualification in childcare.

As an early years teaching assistant you will be working alongside the class teacher so good communication skills are essential in this role. You will be required to work either 1:1 or in small groups of children and support those that may need any extra support to promote their development. It will be your responsibility to encourage children to work independently and as part of a team and participate in activities set by the class teacher. You should encourage and promote any classroom and behavioural standards that are set by the class teacher.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
