We are currently recruiting a Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in Stourbridge. As a team member part of a lovely school in the Stourbridge area, you will play a vital role in helping our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school are looking for the successful candidate to start in December 2024 until the end of the academic year.

The school has a village atmosphere with a two form entry system, priding itself on its caring and friendly environment and the supportive partnerships they hold. With their extensive grounds, the school are able to provide enriching indoor and outdoor learning opportunities that are accessible to all children with differing learning needs.

Responsibilities of this role include:
– Supporting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
– Assisting with the development of individualised learning plans for students
– Providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional help
– Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Promoting positive behaviour and reinforcing classroom rules
– Monitoring and assessing student progress

To be successful within this position:
– Relevant experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting
– A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students
– Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
– Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field (preferred)

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of our students, and to further develop your own skills and knowledge in the field of education. Pay will begin from £80.00 for a day and will depend on references and experiences.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
