Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the team at a charming primary school in Swadlincote. This exciting full-time position requires your enthusiasm and commitment from Monday to Friday starting in September 2024 until at least December 2024.
The primary school located in the centre of Swadlincote is a wonderful educational institution that prioritises both academic excellence and holistic development of its students. Situated in a serene and picturesque location, the school offers a conducive environment for learning and growth. The dedicated team of teachers at the primary school is highly qualified and passionate about nurturing young minds. The staff working their ensure to employ innovative teaching methods to make learning engaging and enjoyable for the students.
To be successful in this role you must have:
– Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or related field
– Experience working with young children
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to support the lead teacher in class activities
– A positive and nurturing attitude towards children
Responsibilities of the role include:
– Assisting the lead teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
– Supporting students in their learning and development
– Creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children
– Collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students
Pay will begin from £76.92 per day and will depend on references and experience.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
