As a reputable education recruitment agency, Zest Education is currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Full Time KS1 Teacher to join a well-established school in Repton. This exciting opportunity requires a teacher with a valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a passion for shaping the minds of young learners.
The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching KS1 students and will possess a strong understanding of the national curriculum. They should be confident in delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and be able to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
In this role, the Full Time KS1 Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum objectives. They will conduct regular assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with students, parents, and fellow staff members. They should have a caring and compassionate approach to teaching, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and maintain a supportive classroom environment.
The Full Time KS1 Teacher will have a genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping each student reach their full potential. They should be creative, adaptable, and able to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of their students. The teacher will be expected to use a variety of teaching resources and technology to enhance the learning experience.
To be considered for this Full Time KS1 Teacher position, applicants must hold a valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching KS1 students. A degree in education or a relevant subject is highly desirable. The candidate should also have a good understanding of safeguarding procedures and be willing to undergo any necessary background checks.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
