Zest Education is currently seeking a full-time teaching assistant to join their team for a rewarding position at a school based in Northfield. Commencing in October 2024 and continuing through the end of summer 2025, this role involves providing 1-1 support to a child in the Y2 class who requires assistance due to autism and ADHD.
As a crucial member of the school’s support team, the ideal candidate will be reliable, dedicated, and a team player. The role entails working full-time hours from 8.15 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday. The Head is specifically looking for individuals who can commit to the entire duration of the position, demonstrating a strong work ethic and passion for supporting children with additional needs.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant childcare field or above. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply!

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
