Zest Education is currently hiring for a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Teaching Assistant for a school in the Redditch area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s life by providing tailored support on a one-to-one basis to help them thrive in their academic and personal development journey.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a compassionate and patient demeanour, with a strong commitment to supporting children with additional needs, including ASD and SEMH. You will play a crucial role in the child’s school life by providing assistance with personal care when necessary, supporting and maintaining positive relationships with teachers, and effectively communicating with parents and caregivers.
To excel in this role, you must exhibit an approachable and dedicated work ethic, coupled with a genuine passion for working with children. Being adaptable, engaging, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this position.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
