Position: Special Educational Needs Teacher
Location: Rugeley
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30-15:30
Start Date: Immediate

About the School:
This school caters to students aged 5-19 with Autism (ASC) and associated needs. They provide a nurturing and supportive environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
– Create a conducive learning environment where students receive personalized attention and support.
– Deliver high-quality teaching through effective lesson planning and resource utilization.
– Design and implement individualised learning activities to meet the diverse needs of each student.
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and reporting on their development.
– Supervise and mentor Teaching Assistants to enhance student learning outcomes.
– Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Requirements:
– Hold Qualified Teacher Status/Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills
– Experience in working with special educational needs is preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
– A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs
