The early years program is designed to provide a solid foundation for children’s educational journey, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

Position Overview: Zest Education are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Early Years class. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students, ensuring that every child receives the individual attention and encouragement they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support the development of children’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
  • Assist with classroom management and organization.
  • Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team and participate in school events and activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
