Zest Education is thrilled to collaborate with an exceptional school in Tipton, currently seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to enrich their team. This full-time role spans from January 2025 to July 2025, offering the opportunity to make a profound impact on young learners.
In the heart of Tipton lies a wonderful primary school that embraces a vibrant learning environment. The school’s dedicated teachers are nurturing and supportive, ensuring that every student receives personalised attention to reach their full potential. With a strong focus on individual student skills, the students are able to excel academically but also develop essential life skills and values.
The role responsibilities include:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 1 students
– Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
– Implement effective behaviour management strategies
– Monitor and assess student progress regularly
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
To be successful within this position you must:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Proven experience working with Key Stage 1 students
– Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Passion for inspiring and motivating young learner

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
