Position: Full-Time Year 3 Teaching Assistant

About The School: It is a thriving and welcoming primary school located in the heart of Hodge hill. Zest are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Year 3 team and contribute to the success and well-being of the pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Year 3 classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
  • Participate in school events, outings, and activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with young learners and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of the primary school curriculum.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
