As Head of Biology, you will:
Lead and manage the Biology curriculum across all key stages, including KS5
Support, mentor, and develop other members of the team
Oversee curriculum planning, data tracking, and intervention strategies
Contribute to whole-school priorities as part of the extended middle leadership team
Promote enrichment opportunities, science outreach, and academic competitions
A qualified teacher of Science with a strong Biology specialism (QTS required)
Experience teaching Biology across KS3 to KS5
Evidence of strong student outcomes and a commitment to inclusive excellence
Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire others (middle leadership experience is desirable)
A collaborative and reflective practitioner ready to contribute to wider school life
Competitive salary on Outer London Pay Scale (M3 to UPS3) + TLR
