Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school located in the Cannock area of Staffordshire and have been asked to assist in the process of finding a Health and Social Care Teacher. The role is full time from January 2024 for at least one term.
The successful candidate would require skills to encourage good behaviour management from all students whilst maintaining a supportive and nurturing learning environment. Additionally, the school is centrally located for all forms of public and private transport.
Ideally the school would like a creative and dynamic teacher to join their departmental team who aim to and are passionate about improving the learning outcomes for all students. Additionally, the school offers state of the art facilities in its classrooms allowing learning to be more dynamic and engaging.
The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Health and Social care and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
