Zest Education is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Walsall to recruit a dedicated and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA to support pupils across a range of year groups and contribute to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
• Support the learning of individuals and small groups through targeted interventions.
• Assist in planning, assessing, and adapting activities to meet pupil needs.
• Work closely with class teachers to ensure continuity and consistency across the curriculum.
• Support pupils with SEND and help promote positive behavior across the school.
Requirements:
• HLTA qualification or significant experience delivering whole-class teaching.
• Previous experience in a UK primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and confidence managing a classroom.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, flexible, and supportive attitude to school life.
