We work closely with our candidate community to find positions that perfectly match your skills, availability, and career goals – with dedicated, local support every step of the way.

The Role

We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work with our partner schools in Solihull.

This is a versatile role ideal for an established HLTA, an experienced Teaching Assistant stepping up, or an Unqualified/Cover Teacher looking for regular, local classroom work. • Deliver small-group literacy, numeracy, and intervention sessions tailored to individual learning needs.

  • Maintain positive behaviour management in line with school policies.

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to encourage active participation.

  • Provide feedback to class teachers and senior leadership on pupil progress.

Requirements

  • HLTA Status or relevant Level 4 qualification (experienced TAs, cover supervisors, or overseas qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply).

  • Proven experience supporting teaching and learning in UK primary or secondary schools.

  • Strong classroom control and behavior management skills.

  • Flexibility to work across different key stages and school environments.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through Zest Education).
