Zest Education is thrilled to partner with a prestigious school in Halesowen, that are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to enrich their team on a full time basis. The school are looking for the successful candidate to join their team from December 2024 until the end of the academic year.

To be successful in the position you must:
– Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
– Experience in supporting teaching and learning in primary or secondary education
– Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and staff
– Proficiency in assisting with planning and delivering engaging lessons
– Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment

Responsibilities of the HLTA role:
– Supporting teachers in the preparation of classroom resources
– Leading small group activities to reinforce learning objectives
– Providing one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs
– Assisting in the assessment and tracking of student progress
– Contributing to the overall pastoral care and well-being of students

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
