Zest Education have the privilege to work closely alongside a school in the Wolverhampton area who are looking to recruit a Humanities teacher from January 2024. Full time is desired for this role but part time may be considered for the right candidate.

Ideally the successful candidates for this role will have experience teaching across the three disciplines of Geography, History and RE. With Geography and History being the main disciplines. Excellent subject knowledge at KS3 and KS4 is essential with some knowledge at KS5 also being required. Experience of organising and leading field trips and managing an exam time table is essential in this role.

The school are a high performing Secondary with a strong vision of guiding their students to achieve their most challenging goals with the expectation that students be helpful and kind towards others. Supportive staff at this school ensure students have a safe and enjoyable environment to thrive in.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for Humanities and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
