Job Description

History • Geography • RE | KS3 & KS4 | September Start

Zest Education is working with a number of welcoming secondary schools across South Birmingham who are looking to appoint enthusiastic and adaptable Humanities Teachers for a September start.

These roles suit confident teachers who can deliver engaging lessons across History, Geography and RE at KS3 and KS4, and who are comfortable working across different school environments.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons across KS3 & KS4
  • Keep pupils engaged, focused, and supported in their learning
  • Follow school policies, routines, and behaviour expectations
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Maintain strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge across Humanities
  • A confident, flexible, and adaptable teaching style
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Reliable, positive, and proactive approach
