Zest Education are seeking an engaging Humanities Teacher who has a strong background in History and RE. This is a fantastic role within a secondary school in the Warwick area, which boasts a highly successful Humanities department. The role is due to commence in February 2025 and will run for a minimum of one term, with possibility of further extension.
As a Humanities teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in both History and RE. The school values the importance of these subjects in providing a well-rounded education, and they are looking for a passionate teacher who can create engaging lessons and thought-provoking discussions.
The school has a reputation for academic excellence, achieving fantastic results at both GCSE and A-Level. They have a supportive and dedicated team of teachers who work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for their students.
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Degree in History and/or RE
– Experience teaching Humanities at Key Stages 3 to 5
– Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to motivate and inspire students
– Commitment to professional development
Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
