KS1 Classroom Support Assistant

Job Description

We are working closely with a diverse primary school in the Erdington area to recruit for a Classroom Support Assistant to work across KS1. The school would like the candidate to start in October 2022 until the end of the academic year.

The school caters for children between the ages of 3 and 11 including a high number of EAL pupils. The school provide an exciting curriculum which is taught through cross- curricular themes and projects.

The role will require the candidate to work with and support small groups of children who require additional support in the classroom. You will also be required to work well alongside the class teacher to support with general activities.

The pay for this role will be dependent on references and experience starting from £65 a day.

All applicants must be NVQ level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
