Zest Education is currently recruiting for a part-time Learning Support Assistant to work at a primary school in Atherstone. This rewarding role will have you working on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays starting in September 2024.
This primary school is where every child can trust every adult, and children and adults are expected to treat each other with respect. This primary school constantly strive to remain a happy and stimulating school where the children want to be and grow as learners.
As a KS1 Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide valuable support to students who require extra assistance with their learning. This includes assisting small groups of students, ensuring they reach their full potential and thrive in the classroom environment. This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.
Ideal candidates for this position will have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, with references available upon request. A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in education or a related field is preferred. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
