KS1 Teacher

Zest Education is currently seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join a reputable school situated near Lea Hall starting in September 2024 on an on going basis.

At the school, they have begun making positive changes to the curriculum, ensuring that every child receives a high-quality and well-rounded education. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to contribute to their dynamic learning environment and play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey the children.

To excel in this role, it is essential that you possess strong behaviour management skills, as there are some challenging behaviours within the class. Your ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment will be crucial in fostering a love for learning and maintaining a safe and respectful atmosphere.

While not mandatory, experience in KS1 SATs preparation would be highly desirable. This experience will enable you to effectively support the students and ensure they are well-prepared for their assessments, providing them with the confidence and skills they need to make appropriate progress.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
