Zest Education are working with a primary school in Telford, who are seeking a dedicated KS1 teacher to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. As the successful teacher, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a group of friendly and highly skilled staff members who uphold high expectations for all students. The school’s nurturing environment aims to support both academic and personal growth for each child.
The ideal teacher for this role must hold a valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a passion for inspiring young minds. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning atmosphere, and supporting the holistic development of pupils in Key Stage 1. Having a thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum will also be essential in this role.
The pay for this role starts from £130 a day depending on references and experience. The role is to start in January 2025.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
