Zest are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified KS1 Teacher to join a dynamic school based within the Swadlincote area. As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young learners and providing them with a solid foundation for their academic journey.
Responsibilities:
– Create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student in the KS1 phase.
– Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing appropriate interventions when necessary.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
– Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
Requirements:
– Valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate.
– Proven experience teaching in the KS1 phase.
– Excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment methods.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
– Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
