Job Description

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a positive impact on children’s education? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join the team at a thriving primary school in Uttoxeter.

As a full-time KS1 Teacher, you will have the rewarding opportunity to work closely with young learners, helping them develop essential skills and nurturing their love for learning. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing students’ progress, and creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment.

We are looking for a qualified teacher who holds a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and has experience working with Key Stage 1 students. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and a creative approach to delivering the curriculum.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of Key Stage 1 students
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and inspired
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging teaching resources and strategies
– Communicate effectively with parents, sharing student progress and addressing any concerns
– Stay up-to-date with the latest educational developments and implement best practices in the classroom

Requirements:
– Hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and relevant teaching qualifications
– Previous experience working with Key Stage 1 students is highly desirable
– Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Enthusiasm for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
– Commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
