Zest Education are recruiting exclusively for a good-rated primary school in the Yardley Wood area of south Birmingham. The position will be starting in September 2022 and will be to work on a full-time basis in KS1. The school are recruiting for roles in both Year 1 and Year 2, the year group will be decided upon successful application.

The position will be suitable for either an experienced or early career teacher and the Head is looking to support an ECT through a minimum 2 terms of their induction.

The successful candidates must:

  • Be an approachable, hardworking, and versatile teacher
  • Hold valid UK QTS
  • Be able to build strong professional relationships with colleagues and pupils
  • Have a sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum
  • Be willing to share your ideas and expertise for the benefit of the children
  • Be consistent in maintaining high standards and behaviour management standards
  • Have high expectations of yourself and your pupils

  • Full planning and assessment responsibilities for the duration of the role
