Job Description

Zest are currently seeking a highly skilled KS2 Teacher with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a dedicated team in Burton on Trent. As a reputable primary school, they pride themselves on providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for all children.

Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum.
– Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing interventions when necessary.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.
– Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and fosters a love for learning.
– Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about student progress and addressing any concerns or queries in a professional manner.
– Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated with the latest educational trends.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
– Experience teaching in a KS2 setting is preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
– A strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to effectively deliver it to students.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students.
– Passion for education and a commitment to creating a stimulating learning environment.
– Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to the individual needs of students.
– Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
