Learning Support Assistant

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a special educational needs school in Telford.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing individualised support to students aged 5-18 in small class groups. Your responsibilities will include working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, monitoring student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers, and creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates for this position will have previous experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or a background in care/support work. You should be confident, enthusiastic, and able to identify and cater to different learning needs. The ability to work effectively in a team, excellent communication skills, and a patient and empathetic approach are essential for success in this role.
