Are you passionate about nurturing young children and supporting their early development?
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Assistant to join our friendly team at a well-established preschool in Tamworth.
As a Level 3 Early Years Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Working closely with a team of experienced practitioners, you’ll support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Location: Tamworth
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Start Date: September 2025
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 2–5 years
Assist with planning, implementing, and reviewing learning opportunities
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Observe, assess, and record children’s development
Support the setting’s safeguarding and health & safety policies
Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
Previous experience working in an early years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS
A caring, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
A welcoming and supportive working environment

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
