Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting a caring, enthusiastic and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Lichfield. This role has been created due to the continued growth of the school’s Nursery provision and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early learning.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting high‑quality early years provision, helping children develop the foundations they need to thrive as they move into Reception and beyond.

About the Role

  • Support teaching and learning across Nursery and EYFS
  • Work alongside the class teacher and wider Early Years team
  • Deliver planned activities and contribute to high‑quality provision
  • Lead small groups independently within EYFS ratio requirements
  • Assist with the day‑to‑day organisation and smooth running of the Nursery
  • Promote a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
