Zest Education are currently working alongside a high performing secondary school in the Coventry area to recruit for a qualified Male PE teacher. The position is a full-time teaching role due to commence in September 2024. The role is open to Male applicants only due to the sensitive nature of changing room supervision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and marking lessons for students ranging from KS3 to KS5. Therefore, a strong understanding of the curriculum at these levels is required. The successful candidate will be adaptable and creative with their lesson planning and will have experience in marking both practical and theory-based work.

Successful candidates will have:
  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong enthusiasm for the subject of PE and the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS3-KS5 curriculum
  • A team ethos and the ability to build strong and professional relationships with both colleagues and pupils
  • Experience in classroom and behaviour management
