A brilliant school in Erdington have asked us to recruit for multiple teaching assistants to join their welcoming team from January 2024, to work on a full time, long term.  The role will be working across nursery and reception.

The outstanding nursery school ensure that all children feel happy and safe in an environment that promotes both children’s learning and well-being. All staff also work in a close partnership with parents and carers to ensure all children are placed at the heart of everything they do.

Roles and responsibilities of the successful candidate:

  • Motivating and encouraging all pupils.
  • Building strong professional relationships with all staff and pupils
  • Have the ability to adapt to whatever the situation requires.
  • Establish a safe, purposeful, and stimulating environment for all pupils.
  • Be a positive role model and demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected by pupils.
  • Maintain the highest standards of behaviour within the class and around the school.

The pay for this role will start from £75 a day dependent on references and experience.

All applicants must be NVQ level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
