Are you passionate about the importance of Music education? Music has been proven to play a key role in brain development and has a big impact on student’s lives both in and outside of the classroom. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by fostering their creativity and passion for music.
A school in Penkridge believes in the importance of Music education and is looking for a dedicated teacher to join their Music department full-time in September 2025. The school has a wonderful array of musical instruments and facilities for you to utilise and create engaging and exciting lessons.
Key responsibilities:
– Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learners
– Mark and assess students work and track student progression
– Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop – particularly the new and engaging ways to teach Music as the subject continues to evolve.
– Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
