Nursery Teacher

Zest Education is recruiting an enthusiastic and nurturing Nursery Teacher to support a welcoming primary school in Burton. This is a full‑time, five‑day‑per‑week role, starting as a two‑term placement with strong potential to extend.

This position is ideal for a teacher who loves Early Years but wants a role with no planning responsibilities. All lessons are pre‑planned, and the EYFS Lead completes all reports, allowing you to focus entirely on high‑quality teaching, learning and relationships with children.

About the Role

As the Nursery Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging, play‑based learning using fully pre‑planned lessons
• Support children’s early development in communication, language, physical skills and social interaction
• Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Work closely with the EYFS Lead, Nursery staff and wider school team
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Contribute to a happy, safe and nurturing Early Years setting

This role suits teachers who enjoy hands‑on, child‑centred practice without the additional workload of planning and report writing.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
