Nursery Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Teacher to join a primary school in Coventry starting in October 2024. This ongoing role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about providing high-quality education to young children.

As a Nursery Teacher at this primary school, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of children aged 3 to 4 years old. Your expertise in teaching phonics will be essential, as Phonics is an integral part of the daily routine for EYFS and Key Stage 1 students. You will use a structured program to assess students’ reading abilities and provide tailored reading materials for their development both in school and at home.

To excel in this role, you must hold a Valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience working with the early years foundation stage (EYFS). A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework is crucial, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be adept at creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that nurtures children’s growth and development.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
