Part Time PPA Teacher

Job Description

Are you a passionate educator eager to inspire students across year groups? Zest Education is excited to offer a part-time PPA cover teaching role for three days a week at a dynamic and forward-thinking primary school in Walsall.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple year groups, covering teachers’ planning, preparation, and assessment time. You’ll play an essential part in delivering exciting and engaging lessons, helping to foster a love of learning and supporting the school’s vision of providing a holistic, well-rounded educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach creative and engaging lessons across different year groups, ensuring each student’s needs are met.
  • Manage the classroom effectively, keeping students focused and motivated.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them improve and build on their strengths.
  • Work closely with the teaching team to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across year groups.
  • Contribute to the inclusive and positive culture of the school, promoting respect and cooperation.

Requirements:

  • QTS and relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Experience teaching across a range of year groups, with a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A genuine passion for education and creating an inspiring, inclusive classroom.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
