Zest is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time teacher to join a fantastic team for a maternity cover starting in September 2024.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive KS1 year group in a highly regarded 2-form entry school in the Hall Green area. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a creative and engaging curriculum, tailored to meet the individual learning needs of our pupils. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with their year group partner to ensure a broad and balanced education that inspires and motivates all students.
We are looking for a candidate who is innovative, adaptable, and able to work effectively within a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive and approachable demeanour, fostering a classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and learning outcomes. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
