Part-time Year 3 Class Teacher

Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated Year 3 class teacher for a school in Cannock. This will be a part-time role working 2-3 days a week, looking to get you started as soon as possible lasting until the ned of the academic year. The school is committed to offering children a high-quality education and preparing them for their future beyond primary school.

Responsibilities as a year 3 teacher include:
– Planning engaging, balanced, and appropriate lessons that cater to the needs of all students
– Ensure all pupils are supported in reaching their full potential
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
– Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student progress
– Implement effective classroom management strategies
– Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results
– Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.

The successful candidate will have to have:

– An enhanced DBS that is on the update service, or be willing to obtain one
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

– Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 3
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
