Zest Education is an award-winning education agency known for providing high-quality staffing solutions to schools across the UK. We are currently working closely with a delightful school in Sutton Coldfield that is in need of a dedicated PPA Cover Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a PPA Cover Teacher, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects, ensuring continuity in the absence of the regular class teacher. The candidate will be required to follow the school’s curriculum, adapt lesson plans as needed, and provide constructive feedback to students. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to collaborate with other staff members, participate in school events, and contribute to the overall success of the school community.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience working in a similar role or a willingness to learn
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments
– Passion for education and a commitment to student success

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
