PPA Teacher – 2 days a week

Job Description

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple year groups, providing cover for teachers during their planning, preparation, and assessment time. You’ll be an integral part of a dynamic team, helping to deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning and support the school’s mission of creating a well-rounded educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across different year groups, ensuring all students engage and benefit from a creative, inspiring curriculum.
  • Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring students remain motivated and on task.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them build on their strengths and improve in areas of challenge.
  • Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure a cohesive approach to learning across year groups.
  • Maintain the inclusive, positive atmosphere the school is known for, promoting respect, kindness, and cooperation.

Requirements:

  • QTS and relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Experience working across multiple year groups, with strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for fostering a love of learning and helping students succeed.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
