Zest Education, an award-winning supply teaching agency proudly supporting schools across the West Midlands, is currently recruiting on behalf of a wonderful primary school in the Druids Heath area of Birmingham. We are seeking a passionate and adaptable part-time PPA teacher to join the team from October 2025 on a 12-week basis.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a flexible and creative teacher who enjoys variety in their working week.
The successful candidate will cover PPA and leadership release time across a range of year groups.
The contract is for 3 days per week (0.6): every Thursday and Friday, with one additional day (flexible depending on school needs).
You’ll be working within a supportive environment that values collaboration and high-quality teaching.

The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Is confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with the ability to adapt to a variety of classroom environments.
Brings creativity, flexibility and a proactive attitude to every lesson.
Is reliable and committed to making a consistent, positive impact over the 12-week period.

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
