Job Description

Are you a confident, engaging and adaptable teacher looking for a part-time role in a supportive and well-resourced school?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive junior school in the heart of Moseley, Birmingham, who are seeking a Part-Time PPA Teacher to join their team from September 2025 until October half term.

This is a 3-day per week role (Wednesday to Friday) and would be well suited to an experienced KS2 teacher or a passionate practitioner looking for a short-term, flexible opportunity.

The Role:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2 to cover teachers’ PPA and leadership time

  • Ensuring high engagement and positive behaviour management in varied classrooms

  • Being a flexible team player who can adapt to different year groups as needed

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds valid UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Confident in delivering lessons across Key Stage 2

  • A natural team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for education

  • Proactive and professional with a good work ethic and a friendly, approachable manner

  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff quickly

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
