🌟 Full-Time PPA Teacher | September 2025 – July 2026
Location: 2-Form Entry Primary School, Kings Heath, Birmingham
Position: Full-Time, Temporary (Academic Year Contract)
🏫 About the School:
Nestled in the heart of Kings Heath, this dynamic and thriving 2-form entry primary school is looking for an enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join their team for the 2025-2026 academic year. The school is known for its strong leadership team (SLT), exceptional teaching staff, and positive relationships with families and the local community. With a focus on inclusivity, collaboration, and pupil wellbeing, the school is dedicated to ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a nurturing and engaging environment.
✨ The Role:
As a PPA Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons across a range of year groups, covering teachers’ PPA time. This role offers variety, challenge, and an opportunity to make a real impact across the whole school.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging, curriculum-based lessons to pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Working closely with class teachers to plan and implement lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and creating a positive, supportive learning environment
Promoting inclusivity and adapting lessons to ensure all pupils, regardless of ability, feel supported and challenged
Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff to ensure smooth operations across year groups
Participating in school-wide events, activities, and initiatives to support the school’s community ethos
This role is perfect for a teacher who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and thrives in a supportive, busy school environment.
✅ We’re Looking For:
A QTS-qualified teacher with experience in primary education
Strong knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate children across various age groups
An adaptable, flexible teaching approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-year group setting
A passion for inclusive teaching and ensuring every child reaches their full potential
A collaborative and professional approach to working with colleagues, pupils, and parents

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
