Location: 2-Form Entry Primary School, Kings Heath, Birmingham
Position: Full-Time, Temporary (Academic Year Contract)

✨ The Role:

As a PPA Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons across a range of year groups, covering teachers’ PPA time. This role offers variety, challenge, and an opportunity to make a real impact across the whole school.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering engaging, curriculum-based lessons to pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

  • Working closely with class teachers to plan and implement lessons that meet the needs of all pupils

  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and creating a positive, supportive learning environment

  • Promoting inclusivity and adapting lessons to ensure all pupils, regardless of ability, feel supported and challenged

  • Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff to ensure smooth operations across year groups

  • Participating in school-wide events, activities, and initiatives to support the school’s community ethos

  • A QTS-qualified teacher with experience in primary education

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate children across various age groups

  • A passion for inclusive teaching and ensuring every child reaches their full potential
