Zest Education is currently recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established primary school in Walsall. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety in their work, as the role involves delivering engaging lessons across a range of year groups from EYFS through to KS2.
As the school’s PPA cover teacher, you’ll play an important role in maintaining high-quality teaching and learning across the school, ensuring that children continue to make excellent progress while their class teachers are released for planning, preparation, and assessment time.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, confident in managing different classes, and passionate about fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for learning in every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of primary year groups.
Adapt to different classes, ensuring continuity of learning and classroom management.
Follow school planning where provided, but also bring creativity and energy to lessons.
Provide feedback to class teachers regarding pupil progress and engagement.
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff across the school community.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum (EYFS–KS2).
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Flexibility and enthusiasm for teaching across multiple age groups.
A passion for creating inclusive, inspiring learning environments.
