Job Description

Are you a passionate educator looking for a rewarding part-time teaching opportunity in a vibrant primary school setting? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join the team at a 2-form entry primary school in Swadlincote. This position is available for 2-3 days a week and is to start immediately.

The primary school boasts a welcoming and inclusive environment with a strong focus on providing quality education to all students. With a 2-form entry structure, the school offers a supportive and collaborative setting for teachers to thrive and take pride in offering a wide array of extra-curricular activities to enhance the overall learning experience for all students.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
– Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
– Participate in school events and activities to contribute to the wider school community
– Uphold the school’s values and ethos in all interactions with students, parents, and staff

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Previous experience working as a class teacher in a primary school setting
– Strong communication and organisational skills
– Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
