Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have experience teaching phonics? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time reception class teacher in Tamworth. This exciting role is available to start as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the academic year.
As a reception class teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of young children. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality phonics instruction, helping students develop their reading and writing skills. Utilising your expertise in phonics, you will create engaging lesson plans and employ innovative teaching methods to ensure that every child achieves their full potential.
In addition to delivering phonics instruction, you will also be expected to create a warm and nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe and supported. You will foster positive relationships with students and their families, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the school year.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of early childhood development and previous experience teaching phonics. You should be knowledgeable about the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and possess the ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of students.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
