Reception Teacher

Job Description

Are you passionate about teaching young children and making a positive impact on their education? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join a busy two form entry primary school in the Small Heath area. This exciting part-time position will commence in March 2024 until the end of the academic year.

As a Reception Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners. The school are welcoming both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

– Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for reception children

– Worth with other staff members to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and assessments

– Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

– Monitor and track each child’s progress and provide feedback accordingly

– Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and inclusive educational experience for all students

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

– Experience working with early years foundation stage (EYFS)

– Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs

– A dynamic and creative approach to teaching

 

The starting salary for this position will range from £130 to £212 a day dependent on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
