Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Level 2 Reception Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to young learners. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the implementation of lesson plans, providing one-on-one support to students, and contributing to the overall development of the reception class. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Requirements:
– Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
– Previous experience working with early years or reception students
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
– A compassionate and patient approach to supporting student learning

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
